KYGO STAR (5) sat handy & was too good when 2nd-up last prep then took on G2 company but stayed at the back & spelled. Picked up some ground from the rear when fresh & is ready to strike here. FLASHBACK (2) broke maiden with a good late run in February then fought on well from a handy spot at Ellerslie but faded in the G2 Wellington Guineas last time. Beat Avantaggia in recent trial. VICTOR TANGO (3) won his maiden here in February & has hit the line hard from the tail in both starts back from a spell. Respect. SCARLETT SPELL (10) capped some useful form with a commanding win last start in April. Improved in each of 3 recent trials. RIP TIDE (14) got back from wide draw but swept up & drove hard to score on debut. Include.
