Perfectly placed back to 900m. Will go hard and cross from the wide alley then prove tough to reel in. KARKADAAN (9) started in the red and got the job done on debut over this course and distance six weeks ago. Placed in a subsequent tick-over trial at Warwick Farm. Promising sprinter who looks ready to take this next step. Veteran AEGIPAN (8) ended a run of four minor placings with a close fourth over 1000m at Queanbeyan recently. Gets some weight relief today and won't mind dropping back to 900m. Good each-way shout. NO STATEMENT (7) raced handy but jarred up on the firm surface over this course and distance last time out. Track and distance specialist who gets track conditions to suit today. VALILEE (1) capitulated first-up at Warwick Farm in a disappointing performance. Can bounce back off a 45-day let-up.
