CHAMPAGNE HERO (11) looks set to deliver this prep after drawing clear third-up with a comfortable victory over 1550m at Randwick Kensington in BM72 class. Has the speed to get over from the draw and take catching again with Tim Clark retaining the ride. KENMARE BAY (8) sprinted well first-up to score on a heavy track, then slow into stride and struck trouble in the straight with a fast finishing fourth over 1580m at Canterbury. Fitter now with Tommy Berry taking the reins. Value prospect. LEOVANNI (14) chasing her fourth win today and deserves her chance in this class. Can hold a position from the gate and give plenty of cheek. THE MONA LISA (4) iron mare who keeps getting better with racing. Faces a few hurdles today and place best.
