BELLISH BOY (1) showed ability as a 3YO when trained out of the North Island arm of the Walker/Bergerson stable, and with a recent Timaru trial under his belt, he is expected to be the one to beat in this. THEONEWEKEPT (3) has some breeding about him, and has needed time to mature. He makes his South Island debut, and looked good when winning a recent trial. He meets a thin field, and should make an immediate impact. Check the market. MARGIELA (7) has plenty of ability but has a bad habit of missing the kick. If she gets it right at the start, then she has each-way claims. NIKA DELOIRE (9) has gone a couple of big races, and she will be a lot stronger this season. A wide gate is no help, but she can make more progress this prep. Keep safe. GINA GILLOTTI (13) won the latest of 3 public trials, and she makes her debut from the coveted pole position. Follow any market confidence.
