MAD MAX (2) proved to be very disappointing last season when more was expected of him. He has recently joined the Terri Rae stable, and a chance of environment can work wonders with older horses just going through the motions. He won a recent trial, and he is good enough to take this out. MAROKOPA FALLS (4) put in some terrific performances against some hot fields as a 3YO, and she looks set to make a bright return for her 4YO season after winning a recent trial. With luck from a sticky gate, she will go close to winning this. DOROTHEA (7) improved in each run from the David Walsh stable after being bought out of the North Island last season. She cops a wide gate for her return, but will be one to follow out of this. IN LIMBO (6) makes his NZ debut after showing talent at provincial level in Sydney last season. She has plenty of pace, and is sure to have plenty of market support. Keep safe. JETSTREAM (1) has been in form on the poly track, and he is not out of this. Include.
