Verdict

WARWOVEN (4) was terrific in his debut prep and looks to have returned in top order, tightening up with two solid trials which is always the key for this stable. He can roll across from the wide draw and sit right behind his hotpot stablemate BLUE DOOR (6) who was gunned down late in the Rosebud after doing all the work in front, with a big gap back to the rest. With only one trial leading in she should improve sharply which makes her very hard to reel in. WILD ATLANTIC (8) is the unknown but his trials say he has a bit about him and he can run a race. Golden Slipper winner GUEST HOUSE (1) returns with stacks of talent but this is not his grand final, so expect him to tick boxes rather than peak. REVENGEANCE (5) might be getting overlooked after not making it to the Slipper but he was a strong Golden Gift winner. He's had three trials to tighten up, and he is worth keeping safe.

Has talent and speed to burn - will take some reeling in.
