Verdict

DE RAZILLY (2) is coming along nicely after 17 months off the scene. Raced handy and tried very hard but went under by less than a length last start over 1200m at Bathurst. Looks perfectly placed out to 1400m at this stage of the prep. Ready to grab a well-deserved win. EDIKA (5) returned from a 31-week spell with an eye-catching second over 1200m at Queanbeyan last time out, his first placing in seven career runs. Might be ready to put it all together now and from the inside alley looms as a serious threat. AMAHTROM (6) flew home to just miss first-up over 1200m at Canberra then went awfully on a soft track at Bathurst most recently. Can bounce back on firmer ground today. SPY TRADER (4) has been poor in two runs this prep but a tongue-tie going on might explain those performances. Can make amends. CLYDE MOUNTAIN (1) didn't do a bad job on debut last start and the extra 200m today will help his cause.
