Primed with a searching trial win over 1000m at Tamworth. Tongue-tie goes on and kicks off in a winnable contest. WILD MONARCH (3) resumes. Wasn't far off the mark in his two starts last time and finds the right race today. Warmed up late from the wide barrier when third over 1180m at Grafton last April. Ran fifth in a recent trial over 1010m at Port Macquarie. Rates highly and is expected to go close. LAST METAPHOR (10) dropped in trip when she closed off quickly to secure third over 1000m at this track third up. Placed to advantage and can feature in the finish. MR ACCURATE (8) comes back to his right trip today and will relish the low draw. Regular rider hops back aboard and place preferred.
