Toowoomba
Verdict
STEVENTOWN (3) resumes from stronger company, having contested the Listed Show A Heart won by Voynichese before spelling, and his close Dalby trial plus previous placing at this trip make him a clear threat. Ready to break through. SUPER INTENT (4) is the key debutant, trialling close seconds at Beaudesert and on the Toowoomba Inner Track, while Pat Webster's debut record gives him added appeal. KAVA EXPRESS (8) strips fitter third-up with two sound Sunny Coast efforts under her belt. Did have a small excuse last time when bumped. She has race fitness on her side now. COUP DE CASH (1) was respectable on debut at this track, finishing fourth after racing keenly and striking some mid-race interference. Natural improvement keeps him in the mix despite the wide draw. GALLOPING ELLIE (7) is another debutant that is worth a market watch after a solid Dalby trial.

VerdictDebuts with a useful grounding, having trialled twice for two close seconds, most recently at Beaudesert. The $30,000 weanling purchase comes from the Pat Webster yard, which has a strong strike rate with debut runners and is well established at this venue. Looks ready to run a big race. - Steventown

VerdictMakes her debut after three trials, with the latest a solid third at Dalby only 10 days ago. First-time blinkers are a positive gear change and she represents a stable and jockey combination with strong local numbers. Place claims on readiness. -T/2449810.png)

VerdictComes back from Saturday company after being beaten out of sight at Eagle Farm, where she jumped awkwardly, raced wide and was eased from the 600m. Her debut in a Mdn at Goondiwindi was better in margin terms, beaten just over five lengths as favourite, but still below expectations. Easier company, but hard to recommend.-T/2463121.png)

VerdictWas respected in an open market on debut at Gatton but finished ninth, beaten over 11 lengths by Our Combination after beginning awkwardly and racing wide throughout. That run had excuses, and she had won a trial beforehand, yet she now meets a new trip and carries 4kg more than on debut. Improvement required second-up.-T/2458636.png)

VerdictFinished seventh on debut at this track over 1010m, beaten just over nine lengths by Happyaziam after settling back, racing greenly and never looking likely. She was not friendless in betting, but the performance still lacked finish. Extra ground is new and she has to lift.-T/2384996.png)

VerdictHas been well beaten at his past two starts, finishing second last at Gold Coast over 1400m last week when beaten over 15 lengths at long odds. The start prior was no better in a Mdn at Talwood, where he ran last and was beaten over 14 lengths. The claim helps, but recent form is well short.- Aspen Gold

VerdictWas slow away on debut at this track and finished sixth over 1010m, beaten six lengths by Happyaziam after improving to the turn but not quickening. There was some bumping and keenness in the run, so he can improve with race experience. Weight relief helps, but he must improve sharply.
