STAR OF LILY (9) brings the most appealing profile after resuming with a decisive Class 1 win at Moruya, where she was sent out favourite and beat Melodia Perfecta by just over two lengths. Her record at around 1000m is already solid and the class-drop tag gives her a strong platform second-up. BOMBAY BOOM (2) is the main threat, with blinkers going on for the first time and Brodie Loy back after his dominant Class 2 win at Corowa; the only reservation is that Pietro Road had his measure at this venue last time. DITTERICH (4) comes through that same race with honest placing claims after finishing second, beaten just under a length, and his 12-month record says he is rarely far away. PIETRO ROAD (6) won that race despite being slow away and held up, so he remains a genuine danger if he can reproduce the same finish.
