MR WATERVILLE (1) was hailed a new star of the jumps scene when he strolled home in the Australian Hurdle, which followed a couple of good performances here during the carnival. The Flemington run last start, when only beaten 3-3/4 lengths, would have kept him up to the mark nicely. ONGATITI (4) was dominant winning his jumps maiden here then no match for Mr Waterville a couple of days later. Bounced back last time though, beating ANDY WIN (3) who is a rival here. Andy Win bounced out of that to win last time though and he can improve again here. They look to be the three key players. FABALOT (2) is good enough at his best, but you wonder whether he can reproduce that. NASSAK DIAMOND (5) looked a promising hurdler a couple of seasons back but hasn't done a heap of jumps racing of late and comes here off the back of some reasonable flat form.
