MACK THE KNIFE (10) debuted over 1500m at Ballarat recently and wasn't beaten all that far into seventh after getting back in the field. Quickly to 2000m now should suit the Lindsay Smith galloper and any natural improvement sees him go close. WINTER ARC (11) has been going well, extending out to 2270m at Geelong a week ago when third. Back slightly in trip but will be up on speed and rolling along. ENDLESS FURY (12) was better second up here in a highweight over 1700m and should improve again up in trip. ROLLIN'ONTHERIVER (9) has been fair in two runs to date but could sneak into the finish. CONJURER (3) was 100/1 last time but did beat Endless Fury home, have to respect.
