IVY DIVA (8) recorded a barnstorming win in a similar race to this at Warren two runs back, coming from last to salute by a widening two lengths. Found the step up in grade at Gosford last start too much. Terrific chance back in this more suitable contest. GELSEY (11) ran a cracker first-up at Quirindi then got too far back and failed to get going over 1250m at Gunnedah last time out. Gets in very well after the claim and should arrive at her peak at the third run back. REFLECTING FAME (6) led but was ambushed close to home when resuming over 1280m at Muswellbrook. Given an eight-week let-up since that outing. Lightly raced six-year-old who should give backers a sight again. WESTERN WARRIOR (9) hit the line with gusto but missed by a long neck last start over 1250m at Gunnedah. Can go one better with improvement to come at the third run of the prep. GLOWING RAPIDS (3) led and finished third to Ivy Diva in this grade two back before failing in better company last time. In the mix.
