TIGER TURF (13) gets the nod on the strength of his overall profile, with last start at Warwick Farm easier to assess kindly after he was checked on the home turn and still finished only beaten four and a half lengths in metro company. His Newcastle third two back gives him a solid platform, and he's very attractive coming back to country grade. SCOOP THE POOL (6) resumes as the main danger after ending last preparation with a Hawkesbury third and a Newcastle second, both on soft ground, and two trials since last racing suggest he is forward enough to run well fresh. KISS OF GOLD (9) has been close up in successive fourths, including a two-length defeat at this track, and her wet-track placing record keeps her firmly in the mix. ALIENTO (7) blinkers go on and she gets weight relief after a plain debut. Respect the stable and can improve here.
