MAKAMAE (16) drops back from tougher and boasts a handy record on the home track. No reason she can't play a major role. LARUSSO (12) was fifth in a BM60 last start at Gold Coast, beaten two lengths after racing keenly early. Gets weight relief and handles wet ground. Well placed and in the mix.
