Good little 3yo race. TRUE REBEL (6) was scratched from the Super Impose Stakes at Flemington when very well backed but instead comes here. He comes through two strong maidens to date with a big gap to third at Geelong and any extra ground will only suit. WRITTEN EMPIRE (7) looked good winning his maiden at Bendigo when last seen, backed into $1.30 and showing a sharp turn of foot to score. Has since trialled and can measure up. HIERARCHY (2) won his maiden nicely at Cranbourne last time. He's a beautifully bred colt who should continue to progress albeit the time was nothing flash the other day. CRUDENS TYCOON (4) has done little wrong to date and the Call Me Coach form looks strong from last start.
