Verdict

Looks a much better race for BUCCLEUCH (2) to return to winning ways. He bolted in first up and was far too good again second up before being pitched up into Listed class here and struggling in a race dominated on speed. Drawn well here and back to benchmark grade he should go close. JETT SMASH (7) showed a sharp turn of foot to win well fresh over 1200m. No issue up to this trip and D Lane sticks but the draw isn't ideal. FUNDAMENTAL NATURE (16) was well backed in a hot BM78 in Sydney last start but didn't fire. The run prior was good and John Allen on is a positive switch. SPACE RIDER (4) is going well and rates an each way chance again.
