Had genuine excuses when sixth in a 1 Metro Win at Doomben, beaten two and a half lengths as favourite after being bumped at the start and racing keenly through the middle stages. Her prior Class 3 win at this track was strong, overcoming a slow beginning and interference to beat Scripted by just over a length. Third-up and back in BM78 grade, she is the one to beat.

Arrives in strong form after winning at this track on heavy ground, beating Atmosphere by just under a length as a well-supported favourite and accounting for Sir Winnie and Easy Love in the process. That followed a narrow second to All Kinds Of Folk in a 1 Metro Win at Doomben. Draw is awkward, but her form is the right form.

Ran third behind Twisted Queen at this track on heavy ground, and the margin looks less harsh when allowing for being bumped at the start and racing wide. He was a well-supported favourite when fifth in Class 6 grade the run prior, so the first-time blinkers are a key addition. Angela Jones record is a major positive.

Was beaten just over seven lengths when fourth behind Twisted Queen at this track on heavy ground, but he kept on after racing just off the lead and did not have the race run out of reach early. The start prior he was dominant in a Class 4 at Doomben, beating Twisted Queen by two and a half lengths as favourite. The heavy-track defeat last start tempers the win case, but he can place.

Comes off consecutive wins, most recently sweeping home from a long way back to beat Duke Of Camden by half a length in a BM68 at this track. That was mid-week company and this is harder, but he had also won a BM65 at Sunshine Coast in similar closing style. Harder now, but current form keeps him right in the place discussion.

Finished last at Doomben in a 1 Metro Win last start, though he was only beaten just over four lengths and had been in strong touch before that. His Toowoomba BM85 win two back, when sent out favourite and scoring by a head from Barbray, reads well for this. First go at this track, yet his profile gives him claims.

Had little luck when sixth at Doomben in Class 3 grade, held up at the 100m after difficulty obtaining clear running and still beaten only two and a half lengths. Her previous sixth in a 1 Metro Win at this venue was sound enough without threatening. Weight relief helps, though wet-track form is a query.

Has been safely held in two Open runs at this track, finishing eighth behind Brindavan on heavy ground last start after lacking the dash to challenge, and sixth behind Cunnamulla Fella the run prior.

Back after five weeks on the sidelines following a sixth at this track, where he settled rearward and could not finish off when beaten just under five lengths. His previous fifth at Gold Coast over 1400m was also only fair at long odds. Others look stronger.

Was bumped during the run when eighth in an Open at Warwick, beaten just over six lengths, and now comes from a country meeting to a harder assignment despite the grade relief into BM78 company. His prior Gold Coast fifth had some merit after he was held up near the 300m.

Resumed with a seventh behind Twisted Queen at this track, beaten eight and a half lengths on heavy ground after being unwanted in betting. The Ballarat Synthetic BM62 win before that was decisive as an odds-on favourite, but this is a stronger test. Must improve a fair way.

Failed to finish at Sunshine Coast in a BM70 last start after being unwanted in the market, which is a clear concern despite the move back from 1800m. Two trials since, including a second at Deagon, at least suggest he has been kept up to the mark.

Raced wide throughout when last at Warwick in an Open, beaten seven and a half lengths, so there was some excuse, but the result still continued a plain run of form. She was also sixth at Toowoomba in Class 6 grade when unwanted in betting and weak late. A much stronger finish is required.
