SAPPHIRE LEGEND (7) was only beaten by a neck in a 100K maiden here on debut a fortnight ago, and will be expected to even sharper with that experience under her belt. She may already looking for more ground, but with the right run, she can go one better. RATIFY (4) has needed time to mature, and some of races in stakes grade have been very good. He resumes with the blinkers off for the first time, and should be hitting the line hard late. Keep him safe in all top 4 combos. SNITZEL'S GIRL (14) improved sharply from a sound fresh effort at Canterbury to finish less than a length from the winner in fourth here 2 weeks ago. She is peaking at the right time, and with 1.5kg less to carry, she should be very competitive. ITALIAN SPIRIT (1) strips fitter second up, and adds to the puzzle.
