Verdict

NOBLER (5) rushed through the grades at the end of last season, and he has been kept ticking over since his spell with a couple of trials. JMac in the saddle fresh up is the lead we need, and he will be ready to rumble fresh. PUNTIN (6) capped off some strong form, with an overdue win in the Dubbo Cup when leading all the way. That form will stack up nicely in this, and he will again take plenty of pegging back. MR CHAPLIN (1) needed the run badly fresh up here nearly 3 weeks ago in weekend company, and he would have taken a lot of benefit out of that effort. Stick with him on an each-way basis. PERISHER (8) has been bought out of the UK and makes his Australian debut with a recent trial win under his belt. Check the markets.
