SAJA (9) bounced off a smart trial win to produce a big run from the rear to get home on debut at Tauranga last month. Well worth following here. ECHANNAY (6) strong charge from midfield to win debut over 1215m in July and resumed with a good run when jumped well and sat 3rd outer and kept coming gamely for 3rd over 1200m last month. Scratched at Ellerslie last week. Respect. MANOLETE (2) the worst effort of her career was a 4.5L 4th on debut. Won his maiden in a tight finish over this trip at Ellerslie in June. First look Anti Clockwise but must respect this stable. MAGIC CARPET (1) came off two quiet trials to produce a big finish from the rear to be within 1L of Party Time over 1200m here in September. Took on the G2 Avondale Guineas at 2100m and G1 NZ Derby last season so this maybe short of his best trip but has placed both runs over it. SIBLING RIVALRY (8) was sent off at $6 but pulled out of the contest 600m out when the rider felt something amiss. Nothing found so forgive.
