Tricky race with all facing the starter for the first time. DRAGONS EDGE (4) held the top after a jumping well and was eye-balled throughout but got away from them late, untouched in her latest trial. Take beating here. HELENA BEL (5) ran 4th to Princess Grazi in her first trial then ran on nicely out wide for 2nd to Show Me Sugar in her latest trial. Scratched from Ellerslie last month in favour of this. Respect here. PICK UP ARTIST (3) held the rail in a close 2nd and fought well for 0.5L 2nd to Glory Of Spring with a gap to 3rd in a recent trail. Nice, compact filly. DAMHOT (1) pinged the start to lead and not asked for a lot when 2L 2nd to Wildcatter in a recent trial. Place claims look best here. MIGHTY SOVEREIGN (2) away well to sit outside the leader and battled on ok for 4L 3rd to Mister Houdini in a recent trial. Big colt that may take time.
